San Jose Rock Shop considers itself to be the premier source for SF South Bay band services and promotion. Service, repairs, modifications, rehearsal services, production services, special events and sales are now a fully functioning part of our core. We take our work seriously and believe that Rock and Roll is a big deal. Next to these areas, we are currently in development of our own preamp and hardware designs for professional applications. We feel that our product mix will eventually cut out its own market space and help spearhead innovation in the music products world. Additionally, we are very close to finalizing a new all ages venue for Downtown San Jose and are very excited to bring highly anticipated national and international acts into an intimate setting for audiences of all ages. Supporting local bands and artists goes hand in hand with this effort as this venue will be able to spotlight local talent on a completely different level than previously available.
San Jose Rock Shop is a DBA of Black Fire LLC which is in the process of being put under a 'B' corporation which is a relatively new concept in corporate structure. The 'B' stands for benefit and allows directors to make decisions that not only impact the bottom line, but also have a wider impact on communities and users in a positive way. This flexibility has proved to be an appealing new template for 21st century business and will likely be a driving force in enhancing our local and state economies.
Black Fire LLC's mission is to become a nationally recognized brand for high quality, high value, innovative music products. Our umbrella corporation intends to seek out and pursue new opportunities across the globe that have a focus on music and arts and keeping them easily accessible in every way, but particularly to the communities they are spawned within.
